Haven't had much time to update the site as much as I would like, but here are a couple of one-minute videos (one of them playing together, and one of them getting kisses from their Champion granny!) for your viewing enjoyment! The puppies are growing and maturing at an unbelievable rate...they are playing with each other, responding to my voice and the movement of the X-pen, and this morning I saw the first little "butt wiggle"! Needless to say, it is difficult to pull myself out of the box several times a day now! They bring me so much enjoyment...not so much for their Mama Dodi now that they have teeth! Granny Harley definitely loves them and checks on their well-being several times throughout the day...Chopper stays a respectful distance away since Dodi popped him in the nose last week!

Two Weeks Old!

Puppy Weigh-In

The puppies have grown so much in just one short week! All are close to doubling their birth weight, and at least one has exceeded that! Justice is the porker of the group!

They are already exhibiting "Chopperish" behavior...yesterday, I was sitting outside the whelping box stroking their sides with a finger and three of the six rolled over to have their bellies scratched!

Overall, they are a very quiet bunch...Harley's litter was LOUD! Dodi has had stomach troubles since the birth, but I know that is just part of the process. I've been trying chicken and rice with her and it seems to have helped some...

Puppies Have Names!

The puppies were due around the 4th, so they each received names related to Independence Day! Happy 4th of July everyone!!

Puppies Are Here!

Early Wednesday morning, our little girl Dodi gave birth to six little black-tri boys! Can't believe we didn't get any girls! Johnny says Chopper got tired of girls outnumbering the boys in our household! Boys, counting humans=8; girls=4!

Blogger Catch-Up

It's been quite a while since we have posted to our blog so I'll do a little update first! We kept two puppies from our first litter, Chevy and Dodi, and the other three puppies were placed in wonderful homes!

Harley, their Mom, has continued in AKC Agility and in February of last year, Harley got her MACH! She is now MACH Fowler's Hotrod Harley Queen CGC, NF! She qualified for AKC Nationals in Concord, NC, in March of 2009, and did well. She qualified for Nationals again last year, and we competed this March in Tulsa, OK, where she had five PERFECT runs! WOOHOO! She is currently working on qualifying for Nationals this year!

Our Chopper man, the puppies Daddy!, has fully recovered from his shattered leg!!! After a year of rehab, he is back on the agility course and is showing in Excellent B in both classes! Last month he and Johnny earned his AXJ in Decatur, Alabama! GO BOYS!!

Chevy and Dodi are both training for agility and looking forward to their first shows!
